Meet The Owner
Meet Vladimir Silchuk, the dedicated owner of Motor Solution. Born in the former Soviet Union, now Ukraine, Vladimir immigrated to the United States in 1989 with his wife and two infant children, fleeing communism in search of a better future. Their journey began in Brookings, SD, before they moved to Sioux Falls a year later, where Vladimir took a job at John Morrell, a meat packing plant. Despite the demands of his job, his passion for vehicles, which began back in the USSR, never waned. In his spare time, he frequented a local salvage yard, buying, fixing, and selling vehicles. After 14 years, Vladimir’s dedication and love for automotive repair led him to leave his job and start Motor Solution. Under his leadership, the shop has become a reliable source for both auto repairs and used car sales, reflecting his unwavering commitment to excellence and community
